Koška Čias is an artistic experience, an event, orchestrated by the Lithuanian pianist Agota Tamelyte. She brings on board her musical crew made up of Jonathan Ho (double bass), Domen Cizej (drums) and Laima Matuzonyte (animation), and sets off in search of her lost cat. To attract the animal’s attention, the quartet deploys a mixture of music, literature, visual art and technology, both relevant and otherwise.
After all, it’s better to give all you’ve got for your fluffy friend. In their search for the lost cat the young musicians are joined at Festival Jazz International Rotterdam by the much-sought-after Rotterdam musician Stefan Lievestro, who leaves his contrabass at home and joins the company with his pedal steel guitar.
